HJ Knife Good or Fake

    In my opinion this is fine and seen occasionally. Likely that the grip was cut for a larger diamond but a smaller one was placed instead. I have an RZM M7/13 exactly the same, correctly pinned with movement. Less care was taken with RZM pieces and were not scrutinised anywhere near as much as we fussy collectors like to do.

        Thanks to all who replied to this thread!!! I appreciated the wealth of info and knowledge on the HJ Knives.

        I'll try to get another picture of the reverse this weekend when my buddy who owns this piece stops by.

            Sorry Guys, but I just can't buy glue as an original configuration. It's going to take a lot of convincing to make me believe this is period.

              I don't see anywhere, where it has been said the diamond is glued. If it is glued, I will say likely postwar replacement and agree with Larry. If it has some movement, I stand by my opinion. If it has no movement, and no sign of glue, who knows - an x-ray will show if it is correctly pinned in place - see your friendly dentist.
