Sepp Allerberger was awarded with the Knight´s Cross and I met him several times.

On page 252 you can find an image of the Seitengewehr 42, but, as far as I know, Allerberger didn´t received such bayonet.

As far as I know this bayonet is reffered to as M1958 and was adopted only by the Sudan together with the Dutch-made Armalite AR10 rifles.

This kind of bayonets were manufactured in Germany by Hubertus, Solingen by order of Interarmco and came in two different designs, (versions).
The 1st Model was delivered to the Sudan in 1959, the 2nd Model, (a modified version), followed in 1960.

The Armalite AR10 Sudan bajonet was not made for the Dutch army. But is was odered by Armalite Interarmco to be made in Solingen by Eichhorn Germany to Sudan in 1956. Approx 7950 total with a order of 10000 Rifles to Sudan in the cal. 308 Win.

the distance between leters cof is is diferent and the head of the WAa marking is straight, but it should be loking to the left. the multitool looks fine.
are you sure that you knife is an orinal. the kondition is just awesome!

I am pretty sure of the originality of this. The 'cof' TMs used by Eickhorn did vary, see the difference between teh mark used on the 1941 and the 1944 versions of the K98 combat bayonet.

Everything else checks out on this... the plecement of the tool into the bayonet handle, the type of material on the scabbard, etc.
