Blowing the dust off this one, eh? LOL, When I recieved it it had nice patina on and still does. I think it just photographed shinny here. Let me tell you boys, its hard to let this degen be and not handle it all the time, it so beautiful! Honestly, I dont think Paul cleans anything he sells. I have personally never recieved a cleaned piece from him. I'm certain someone has probably cleaned this degen somewhere along the way, otherwise it would be very yellow looking. Since I bought this degen I have added an awesome original portepee from Paul Hogle and a brocade SS officer's sling from Tom Wittmann. The set is now complete!
