    Dagger rarity list

I keep reading and hearing about dagger rarity lists (,McSaar, Fisher) and have searched as much as possible but cannot find the lists. Where are these lists available?

      Lists

BUT, remember that the McSarr is ONLY one mans opinion according to what he has seen. I've said this time and time again, but I think IF we took a handful of lists and blended them together, we'd be a lot closer to the truth.........

You guys are talking about makers not types, right ?

I don't know much about makers. Soligen, the squirrel and the hens and the diamond marks are a few.

But damascus blades and ivory handles are RARE on WW2 German daggers and I've seen some in Houston.

My Dad is half ass looking for a RAD officers and/or a Teno. He goes more for looks in his collection than how rare it is. If my brother graduates soon from college I bet he will get them but they are not raRE right?

          RAD Officer vs. TENO

Both, the RAD Officer & the TENO Officer, in fine condition are considered Rare, in many texts and IMHO.

Of the two - the TENO Officer, in top condition, is the more difficult Dagger to find & it has 2 different Hangers (Fabric & Leather) to fully kit it out.

There is a superb one being discussed now ... that you might want to show to your Dad

Hang on guys surely there is a project here, Why pay for a list when we could compile one our selves? Would anyone fancy starting with one type of dagger then moving on from there?

Thanks very much for the information. I had thought that the lists might be available on the web to view but now see that you have to buy the publications. I don't know if I want to spend $40 to find out if my maker is rare or not. I was more curious than anything else. Thanks again!
