No Markings On a K98 Bayonet??

Hey Guys, I just bought the bayonet that was listed here on the E-Stand. It has a phosphate scabbard and appears to be in mint condition. Unless it's a post war fake I am very happy with it. I'm just wondering the story on these? ( last ditch effort to make weapons so skipped the markings or???????????) Thanks guys. http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=234365

    no worries

that an excellent bayonet. i was thinking of purchasing it myself. those late war pieces i find to be very interesting . they were being produced so quick to get out to the front that little details were elimanated. one example is the m42 helmet.
they didn.t roll the edges becauase the needed to supply the war demand.
pieces like that represent the decline of nazi germany. add that story with your new purcase and enjoy it . nice score and a fair price

You got a nice original matching bayonet at a very good price. No worry about the originality of this one.
