                      Karlo, As stated WW II era German, the 1944 dated scabbard by Carl Eickhorn is mated to a 1942 dated blade by WKC which was another maker. The “mating” of the two was sometime after they left their respective factories most probably after the war was over. FP

                        nice bayo, but i believe the scabbard is a postwar repro, we should see the ball finial. best regards,Andy
