HJ Eickhorn transitional - Opinions neede

Would like some input on this HJ Eickhorn transitional.
It screams period piece, but a few things have made me paranoid:
    1) Can only get the very slightest of movement out of the diamond & took me ages to find this movement.
    2) Join on the grip side of the finger guard, but this isn't anywhere else on the knife
    3) Shape of the blade, i only have a very early Christians to compare & they have fat blades.
    Am i just being paranoid?
    Thanks, Ant.

                Ant,

The fact you can get some movement out of the diamond is a very good sign. Looks like it might have been sharpened a little toward the tip but I don't see anything that makes me suspicious of this knife, I dig it.

Thanks Billy, it's just my paranoia. It was just so hard to discern any movement that got me. TR collecting makes you paranoid!
Now i've looked back over the pictures it does look very good, perhaps it's the condition too that got me, my other HJ is salty.
                      Thanks, Ant.

                        Ant,
                        It looks OK.
Like Billy says, if there is a slight movement of the diamond, it is a good sign of original examples.

Yeah , i really like them, and always enjoy when a HJ knife thread is created and help is needed. It is mainly the only reason why i enter to the daggers forum, as i know nothing about the other daggers!
And this one is very fine. The overall shape of the knife is awesome!

Thanks Santiago, it has taken me a long time to find one in this condition with a Motto.
The downside is that i will now have to probably sell my other HJ
I think everyone on WA knows how much you love these knives. Were you the person who got sent a box of free stuff (including HJ knife) by a very generous forum member? The parcel got held in customs i remember.
                              Ant.
