    SA Dagger Collectors

How rare are SA daggers with the 'W' stamping on the crosss guard? Of the SA daggers known with this marking, do most of them also have a 'W' stamped into the scabbard? Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Merci.

    Gau mark W

W seems to be less common...have a look at this link...

The few I've run across have been more likely misstruck 'Wf' daggers than 'W'.

        Erich and Stu:

I have seen three SA daggers with the 'W' stamping. Two were made by CARL TILLMANNS, SOLINGEN and one made by C. GUSTAV SPITZER, SOLINGEN. Forum member Mr. Jerry D currently has one of these daggers for sale on E-stand (see photo).

Is there any solid evidence connecting these daggers to the SA Feldherrenhalle?
