      Stephen,
If you have your heart set on a Carl Eickhorn, this isn't it. The crs code is for Paul Weyersberg. This piece is mismatched with an Eickhorn scabbard.

Hold out for one with matching numbers to both the blade and the scabbard. Earlier ones will be marked with the Carl Eickhorn name as you see on the scabbard of this ebay auction. Later Eickhorn blades and scabbards will be coded cof.

Steven, Unless your heart is set on a bayonet with the Eickhorn name spelled out, you could also look for one by them with an “S” code (S/172). Or as Denny mentioned a Fertigungskennzeichen (maker letter code) “cof”. With the “S” code being much harder to find and the “cof” letter coded ones fairly easy to find. FP
