are these late war pieces a good value? is this item priced fairly? what are peoples thoughts on this sword as i have been thinking about getting it, im just quite sure if i shoudl wait for an early one ? any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thanks mike

I was looking at that degen as well. It looks like a pretty nice piece at a decent price. I've never seen one with a pressed-on upper fitting, but then again, I don't collect these so my degen knowledge base is limited.
