    Looking at purchasing this dagger...

    Hello,

I'm looking at purchasing this dagger from an estate sale and was wondering how much it's worth. They're asking $900 and in my opinion it's way too much. The dagger is clearly marked with "Solingen", according to the seller and says that the blade is very clean.

What would you offer for this dagger? This is a Luftwaffe dagger correct?

    Thanks.

    Tom

First I would ask better pictures...

I would be able to see the dagger myself before I purchase it. I was just really looking for a ball park figure so I can make a reasonable offer.

I'd ask for better photos first. Right off the bat I'm not sure you'd want Heer hangers on your Luft dagger. Just a thought.

Looks like a Heer grip on a Luftwaffe dagger...

I would pass on this one.

It might even be a repro, the grips on the repros Iv'e seen run in the opposite direction to the originals.

Stay away from that one. Bunch of parts. Not worth your trouble.
