    Army Engraved

    Hi Guys,

It has been quite awhile since I actually looked at any of the daggers that I have, I tried to only collect the best quality and just kept a few that I really liked over the years.

Here is a nice one, Army engraved unmarked with the Voos pattern blade, and all the usual matching fittings, in perfect condition. I have had this one 25 years and it has only been out of the scabbard a few times.

    Regards,

    Anthony

A very nice example! Actually, according to Tom Wittmann, the two dribbles at the point make the blade a "no-maker" variety rather than a Voos. Either way, it's a very well conditioned piece. Thanks for sharing.

                  Hi Larry,

Thank you for your comment. Correct, it is a no maker variety but basically the same etching, it would be interesting to know why, but I guess that question has been asked many times before.

I did notice when taking the pics that the band on top of the crossguard ( ferrule ? ) had hand enhanced centre veins in the oakleaves.

I will post some more pics of my other daggers later today.

I also checked it with a Voos marked engraved blade dagger with an ivory grip, the hardware is the same, again very INTERESTING

                  Regards,

                  Anthony

Here is another on my daggers. This is the only one that I have ever seen that has the hanger with the protective covering as in the photo, it is as MINT as the day it left the factory, a very nice bit of furniture for the grip to, and a great fit.

                    Regards,

                    Anthony

                          Hi Guys,

The dagger with the original packing and the bag is an SA, the scabbard just looks darker in the pic. I will post some more pics later today.

                          This is my NSKK.

                          Regards,

                          Anthony
