This squirrel is very,very rare and i think years ago many dealers and also collectors means that this squirrel blades are fakes .
I like the crossgraining .The hanger is not period.

Really so scarce this Eickhorn markings ?

The mark in question is indeed scarce because it was used during the brief period between the maker mark/logo and the exclusive use of the RZM mark. This is often referred to as a transitional marking.
