        robert, I dont mean that you should strip it, ofcourse not. But I say that you will not get 700 for this one except if you sell it in parts,,,,,,......
        Look at ebay, thats how many sell their daggers today, in parts.....

          NICE late Eickhorn Heer! This mark called the "over the shoulder squirrell" mark was the last used by Eickhorn during ww2. dating this dagger to around 1942. These are quite rare with this mark, so it helps the value! I would say around $600 to $700 considering condition. Nice find!! Kevin. Ps,The hanger is worth another 225 to 250$! NICE desirable type!
