Engraved first Model Luftwaffe dagger, Real ?

The etching is a photo etch. The condition of the blade polish is not good compared to the relative newness of the etch. The pilots name sounds very familiar. I may have pictures of a 2nd Model Luft dedicated with the same inscription to the same fellow. I will look in my photo archive to see if I can find it.

The dagger itself looks to be okay, but I have never seen what I considered to be an original, etched/presented 1st Luft. Pity someone had to bugger this one up

The Puma logo looks strange,I believe it should have solingen under the logo.Jay Parisi

Also isnt the Luftwaffe eagle supposed to have 5 tail feathers? not 4??

Thanks for the remarks guys. I have put it on sale on the E-stand taking this in consideration.

The Puma logo also appears off center, most odd.
