It may be original, but it's been buffed or something. The brass parts just look odd somehow.

Appears to be original but, as Larry noted has been buffed or cleaned to the point that the gilting is gone...worn down to the brass base metal. Pity, as I doubt it was that bad before it was cleaned up and WKC made a nice Navy dagger.

Indeed, it kind of does look like somebody went a little crazy with the buff job. Don't you wish people would stop buffing and sharpening

the only pics i got, i was looking on dreaded ebay and this was on there. it went for £311 but reserve not met
