    Eickhorn made Iraq Naval Dagger

Can any out there identify when this might have been made based on the trade mark? I assume it was post-1970 but know for sure and was hoping a dagger expert might know.

This looks so much like the pre-Nazi German naval dagger that I was amazed.

I had to pull the photos because my web site could not handle the traffic.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

WKC is still making daggers today so hard to say. GDC has a section for non german daggers moderated by Kurt Glemser. If anyone knows he will.

While the Eickhorn firm went bankrupt several years ago. One of the Eickhorn heirs has attempted to resume limited production. Interestingly enough when he revived the company he decided to use the wartime trademark. Every year at the Shot Show in Las Vegas there is a Solingen Knife Makers Booth where Eickhorn, WKC, and a couple others display near identical copies of Third Reich pieces. I honestly couldn't tell many of the Hunting Association Daggers from originals.
