    Eickhorn Officers Sword

    To whomever can help,

Hi, I just joined this forum and have only been collecting for about ten years so please be patiant if I ask the wrong questions. I recently picked up an Officers Sword made by Eickhorn-Solingen, however I noticed that on the opposite side of the blade the following markings are on it ( &. L. Schebben - Uniformen-Achen) can anyone tell me what this means? Thanks in advance.

Most likely the distributor's or retailer's name. This was not uncommon.

      Thanks Skip,

I have looked through many books but have not come across one with the maker marks described. Thanks again for the reply.
