Engravings on a early Luftwaffe scabbard

Hi Chaps , Early smf Luftwaffe dagger but wondering if the Hq B initials arent actually initials but something else as the more i look at it the letter engraved on the upper scabbard mount(early leather one of just hard leather with metal mounts/ no metal sheath beneath) arent "HqB" but are " H01 B" ??? unit????
