                      I think this is a post war made dagger as Jung made post war examples during the 1960s. The Wehrmacht eagle on the blade is not a known KM variation to my knowledge. Also original Clemen und Jung daggers had the company name on one side of the blade and the other side had the "Z" within a shield logo.

                      Would be interested in other opinions.

                        Bernie, you are quite correct but you are describing an "early" trademark variation but this one is a later-produced original ( Wittamnn's Navy book on page 309 ).

                            Sorry Bernie, I didn't see that Wehrmacht eagle on the blade ( hard to tell from those pics ) and you may just be right.
                            Neither have I ever seen a Wehrmacht eagle on the blade.
                            Unless it is an extremely rare variation, I wouldn't be comfortable with this blade.
                            I was merely talking about the trademark, which is a correct for a later-produced blade, as showned in Witamnn's Navy book.
