    SA dagger parts...

    where can I get some?
in particular the 'top bit' that the 'screw' holds on (what an expert! )
Doesn't have to be minty, just reasonable... oh, and cheap!
    any ideas?
    regards
    jon

Jason, I think he is talking about the top crossgaurd. Be carefull that you buy the same kind as the lower crossgaurd,ie if you have an early dagger you need a nickol one,a later RZM SA would need a plated one. Ebay always has them from time to time. post a picture of the dagger and we can tell you what is needed.
go to www.lakesidetrader.com he did have a great article on SA daggers for the complete novice and up that was very well written.

        Holla Amigo,
I have been asking all my friends in the States for similar scabbard fittings and found nothing worthwhile. Good luck Jon.

I saw some at a gun show at the weekend... but didn't need one then! and yes, it's the top crossguard piece I need, a plated one. I'd forgotten about good old ebay, you're right, I've seen parts on there before too. I'll keep an eye out... Eric, don't bid against me!
thanks for the 'lakesidetrader' link, very interesting and helpful
