E-stand SA dagger - Any concerns?

Any red flags on this? Great looking piece. However the handle is real, real nice looking so I didn't know if it was refinished. Tried to research the "tiger grain" handle and my best hit was on Lakeside Trader where they said handle "Variations include blonde and tiger striped.".

What's your specific concern? I was going to see if they'd budge on the price a little.

The blade looks dull, maybe polished. I can’t see any crossgrain on the blade. And I’m quite sure that it’s not because of the photos only.

The blade is for me the most important part of an edged weapon. And a SA dagger without cross grain is for me definitely not worth more than $700. Regardless of tiger stripe grip, rare maker, triple hanger or any else nice feature.

But that’s maybe just me. Prices are very subjective. One collector is willing to pay more, the other less. The difference can be quite significant.

I would want a slightly cheaper price or wait for a nicer one. I would also want to see a close up on the motto as it may have been re-darkened.
