Correct lubricant for Wehrmacht radio mechanics

Folks,

If cleaning of mechanics and lubrication is necessary, what is the recommended lubricant to use. There are both metal and phenolic gears that are used. What type of lubricant is appropriate for each type of gear?

I use white molykote for metal gears and shafts in bushings, the one I use is for weapons use. For the phenolic gears I don't know.
