Radio racks without shock absorbers mounting holes

Hello,

I recently bought a P10US and a P20US. They both have no holes drilled on the sides to fit the gummy shock absorbers.

Was there another way to fix the racks in the vehicles ? Or are these unused leftovers ?

They are not repro either.
