your bakelite , pertinax connector will fitt perfectly , i agree
it's a marine connector , i have a photo of one coming out of French river
Rhone , from a small sunked ship , the psu was wearing one ,like yours i just want to mention , as you said that the original one for elster SEG2T , must wear the small plate with Ln20.025, and is made of aluminium .
now it's clear .

My theory is that Trenkle's estimate of <1000 of these sets having been manufactured is correct. Looks like the serial numbers from both 1941 and 1942 are in the same range. As long as there are no overlaps from those two years, then it is safe to assume that < 1000 sets were manufactured, making this one of the more rare sets of the Wehrmacht.
