Instructions for a Torn E disassembly?

Are there any instructions available on the disassembly and cleaning of a Torn E?

Is there any precautions on removing the tubes?

    Where are the tubes?

    Thanks in advance

AFter you take off the cover, the tubes are on top. They have knobs that you just pull up. Be careful disassembling the unit, as internal mechanics must be correctly aligned. You should use electrical contact cleaner to clean the vacuum tube socket contacts, frequency drum contacts, and paddles. Use a cloth stretched over a small screwdriver to do this. Do NOT use a q-tip as they leave cotton strands on the contacts. Do NOT use paper towels.

Well these tubes will be difficult to test because they aren't there. All 4 are missing.

Can somebody tell me which tubes are required and how much they are likely to cost me?

            Thanks

Tubes are RV2P800. They go from $15-$30 a piece usually.

Is it a reasonable assumption to think all the tubes would be there or should I have asked specifically?

This is turning out to be an expensive lesson.

There is a saying about the word "assume", but I forget it.

Always ask if it's not obvious on the actual photos.

Well I can take solice in the fact the actual radios showed up on my doorstep after the money was sent. I have had other stuff just not show up and the seller claim it was shipped.

I paid £875 for the Torn E plus the battery box with cover and cable, and £425 Ukw. E. In light of what arrived, is that a reasonable price?
