    German Radio Videos

I have started making videos of my radios working. Here is one of the first ones. I recently purchased this Torn.E.b out of the woodwork, along with a battery box and about 40 RV2P800 tubes + power cable. After replacing just one bad tube, the receiver worked without any repairs or modifications. Probably, the electrolytic box capacitors need to be replaced, but I can do that later.

That is the norm for German WW2 radios !!
It plays best on telegraphy but I assume you dont know morse-code?
With the Ruckkopplung you get a pretty sensitive receiver, even by todays standard.

I think I am going to dig out my c-vhs of the working torneb, 5 watt sender and 80 watt sender I made about 6 years ago.
