I did not say anything about the Waffenfarbe difference. Because there is no such difference at all.

Once again:

Every EM/NCO visor in this color is always a Veterinarian, every Officer visor in this color is Veterinarian or General Staff.

That is because the lowest possible rank for General Staff is Hauptmann im Generalstab (Hauptmann i. G.).

it was real hard back them to be vet as a EM ,maybe a senior nco fit the bill here only. and Bob cap may be one of them.

There is an EM/NCO Generalstab-marked hat, but I cannot find it in my files.
In any event, this document shows that there were O/R who were entitled to wear carmine:

Very valuable info I did not noticed the OKH rules till now.

That shown we can simply call as an exception of an exception.

I mean that in the time of pre war piece and colored waffenrocks there was a small group of some EM/NCO soldiers serving strictly by OKH.

But this waffenfarbe was never used in any other garrisons, combat units, any kind of unit Stabs etc. around the Germany in the lower rank than Hauptmann i.G.

So finding today EM/NCO visor in this color which reallly would belong to the OKH soldier instead of veterinarian would be rarer than real visor of priest for example.

We can assume that generally as a rule most EM/NCO visor in this Waffenfarbe (99,9%) will be always veterinarian.
