Anyone familiar with this maker/stamp on M42?

Searched all my books and Google as well....cannot find anything..

It's on a M42 Feldmütze. Since it has no T shape insignia it is already a bit more suspicious.

Anyone has more info? Or maker/stamp complete fantasy?

[QUOTE=Glenn McInnes;8281723]The lining and stamp (stamp copying a visor sweat diamond) looks fake to me..Also the lack of vent grommets is suspicious.

It has vent holes... they look good to me..

I suspect this cap is a reproduction.

I am unaware of any makers/retailers out of Vienna with those initials.

                  I don't care for them.

I cannot point out any details which are explicitly wrong. The machine sewn two piece insignia is seen on originals as are the zinc grommets. The lining is not typical but you can find various linings on originals. Most of these caps were manufactured in 1942 but some were still being made in 1943. The makers stamp is the oddest feature here. I'm afraid my misgivings are based solely on the impression the cap makes on me.

Yeah I saw this one on Williams site and couldn’t get by the markings/lining.
