The eagle has been added later , when ? And doesn't belong to the cap .

I believe this is a Luftschutz cap, possibly rebadged when the SHD and LWD became the Luftschutzpolizei. The green piping may be for female employees. I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss the Police badge. They may know more on the Police Forum.

The green piping is correct for the LSP. Most caps were not piped since surplus Luftwaffe uniforms were used, BUT green piping is specified for this organization.

The insignia is bad. No cockade was worn and a white on black standard police eagle was worn on the lower front of the cap. The eagle insignia on the cap now is a suspected reproduction. There are some examples of LSP headgear in the police section of the forum.
