If the sweatshield is removed it's most likely an Altesste post war parts cap ..SS Army and Luft caps are seen by them..Billbert

The cap was bought from a well known dealer at a military show last year.
It was bought as a late war Luftwaffe officer visor.

I belive too itˋs a very late war production. But it was little respons on this one

For me also a late war original LW OFF cap !
Not a post war repro and certainly not an "älteste" !
