            Hello Sander,
I agree with the others, this is a very nice original, late war visor cap.
            Thank you and best wishes,
            Curtiss

Yes, for shure Panzergrenadiere!! Not Geb.Jäger!
I have the feeling someone did not know a Panzergreandier cap is more worth than a Gebirgsjäger and replace the eagle and put a Edelweis to the cap?

However 100% Original cap but who knows when the eadelweis come to the cap?

                    convert

In the first image it looks like there might be two holes about even with the top of the wreath of the metal eagle where it was originally until possibly "converted" into a Gebirgsjaeger. Steiner99 has explained it as I see it. Otherwise a nice Pz. Gren. visor.

Jägergrün not Pz Grenadier Wiesengrün... the usual debate on green variations !

On photo 6 it looks like there are holes a bit below the eagle. That makes me think the eagle is highered to add the edelweiss and therefor I agree with what is said before by steiner99 and pauke.

I agree regarding the eagle traces but Jäger don't have an Edelweiss on their caps for example but still a Jäger green piping .
Edelweiss added ? when ? Why not period ?
