    Damn!,that moth was hungry!

    Hi Fellas,
I picked up a few bits from an estate in Wisconsin while on the hunt, this Extra Klasse LW OR's pioneer Shirmmutze or rather what is left of it was part of the group.
It sure was a hungry moth that set about it and breaks my heart to see it like this
It still has the Eagle though not shown in the pictures as it somehow made it on to a police shako that will show later...

I suppose this Visor cap will only be good for parts as i doubt even with BenVK skills at restoration that you could make it presentable for display..

Comment's always appreciated and thoughts on price too for eventual inclusion on the Estand.

    Cheers

    Bob

Because of the rare farbe I would just leave it alone as a display "relic condition" visor
and not destruct it for parts! I like it still!

              Hey Nick,
it will be going on the estand 100%,it just wouldn't fit in with my set up but some folks would for whatever reason so in your opinion what would be a fair price to ask for it? or just pick a price and drop till it sells

              Cheers

I have never been so torn on an item LOL. I like used but this is almost too "used" LOL. But mint ones aren't laying around everywhere and the prices are steep, especially when you deal with the CND dollar

You have me thinking, damn you Bob!!!!

Its there for the taking, but you need to be good with a needle and thread
Could always put a white summer cover on it, everything else will clean up a treat

                    Cheers

                      Hi,
Nice and what a pity, don't think it would survive the trip to Canada.
