I still remember that auction and I'm glad that Carlo was able to win it now more than eight years ago:

As the topic is a little remote and sometimes there is still some confusion with the Beamte of various types, I try to summarize some data on the specialist leaders hoping to trigger a fruitful discussion:
This category was formed in 1937, selecting those individuals with special skills for roles to which not enough officers or NCOs were available. They were divided into different positions' designations:
- Officers’ assignments: stellengruppe B assimilated to Major; stellengruppe K assimilated to Captain; stellengruppe Z assimilated to Lieutenant.
- Ncos’ assignments: stellengruppe O assimilated to Oberfeldwebel; stellengruppe G assimilated to Unteroffizier.
