Youve gotten two very knowledgeable answers now....I have forgotten but isn't there some obscure Heer panzer unit that wears White Piping...of course I am aaware of LUFT HG..The cap if real and a custom made piece would be for Heer Panzer...

The cap is interesting, I would expect to see a nicer quality liner in it for an officers cap and the shape is a bit out there but not unreasonable. The wool looks to be a nice quality, any issues noted when backlighted? Matt
