A question about M43 cap construction.

    Hi to everyone...
I need your help to understand better the m43 caps construction.
I post a pic about an old thread (Ardennes44-a cosidered fake M43)
I'd like to to know if this feature (the outer rear seam with extra fabric) of the m43 can be considered legit or no.......I mean can you find this feature on originals M43 cap?
Really thanks for your kind opinions.
    All my best
    Giorgio

yes it is possible on orginals but not very common. depends on the manufacture...

Minimum 1/2" seam allowance is the standard and quite common on just about any field cap. There needs to be enough fabric to be joined, pressed flat, and sewn on each side of the seam or you wouldn't have a durable seam.
