Thanks, the images are the same cap, it must be a play on light and the top photo seems to show truer colour,
will try to get better images from seller, did have this one,

Luftwaffe M43

Stay clear of this cap, as I stated in your PM, I would post a picture of the cap,(only one photo on file), that I had made 10 years ago. It is one of three made from a jacket, non military material. I sold this cap 2 years ago and it has surfaced in an Auction house. I have made over 400 M43's, side caps, Herman Meyer, Crushers, and others since 1983. One cap Surfaced on the Collectors Guild, I promptly notified them and it was pulled. It also was a single Button Luftwaffe M43 made in 1983. I would notify the seller and let them know. Hope this helps.

Many thanks DL for your help, saved me wasting money and being p'd off, i have notified the Auction house, someone has already prebid $150 and I think they will probably ignore me,
