Unfortunately, there is some staining that is not apparent in my lousy photos, especially on the crown near the front of the cap.
I have heard a mixture of Woolite diluted with water may work, but not to immerse the cover totally.

Please leave as it is.... you can cause more damage by smearing the dirt out.

I still have a few of my best visors, but don't actively pursue them anymore although I do like looking. I did see my first white topped HG Luft visor!!! Alex
