Its a little hard to answer your question. The cap is an obvious reproduction, not a very good copy of an original cap. It has all the correct type of insignia for a Heer officers cap. Just not very good.

Depends on what your standards are I suppose. I don't much care for it as an example of an original.

The style of the cap is Luftwaffe but in Feldgrau army color with enlisted style army insignia with a silver piping that is not usually found on army officers' caps. It's a mess and I would look elsewhere.
