Other fronts needing tropical really only receive tropical uniforms in 1942 after the Afrika front needs were being met and production of tropical uniforms had been greatly expanded. Of course, the resupply of tropical uniforms in Afrika became a problem in 1942 but that was because the boats taking them from Reich were being sunk. By mid-1942 this had become critical in Afrika with the German soldiers struggling to get several items of clothing,
