    Heer Cavalry officer's visor cap

First of all, I apologize for the poor photos, for which I am to blame. I need to work on my "skills"!
Anyway, it's a nice doeskin visor from BAMUFA, via their distributor in Bamberg.
I just wonder if the original owner served in Reiter Regt. 17, one of whose garrisons was Bamberg.
Claus von Stauffenberg once served in that regiment.

Awesome visor. Goldgelb is my favorite waffenfarbe on a visor. J

                      Hallo Bob

Excuse me for the long delay but I have seen this thread only today. Nice Beckmann.
This is the confirmation from the 1937 Bamberg adressbuch:

Thanks for the kind words. The cap still sits in my den.
I have always favored the cavalry, especially since my great-great grandfather served in the 15th Pennsylvania Cavalry in the Civil War.
