Erel vented cockade

Hi guys, saw this army medical hat for sale the other day, seems to be an Erel with a vented cockade.. I've haven't seen too many about, are the vented cockade a rare feature ?

Its one of Erels trade marks, I wouldn't call it rare by any means. Nice cap though. Matt

Not rare, common to most pre-war officer visors.

Is yours vented all the way through?

Certainly not rare, but something collectors seem to pay a premium for.

Like stonemint, I would also be curious to see if this one is vented all the way through.

vented all the way through? yes and no... it seems to be vented through to the sweat band, however the sweatband doesn't have holes punched in it like a lot of other Erel visors. I'll post a pic of the inside venting shortly.
