He may be just clowning around..as they say he had a good sense of humor between certain limitations....but this is something we need to do a thread on , about all the different hats hitlers been seen in throughout his lifetime. If someone else does it, I get partial credit for the idea....same needs done for the FAT BOY ...HG...he really had a lot of hats in his life. .you may never get an answer .

There was an article published in 'Stern' in the early 1970's in which this photograph appeared.
If I recall correctly, the rather attractive woman seated next to AH is Dr Robert Ley's wife. The photograph was taken on one of the 'Strentgth Through Joy' cruise liners (the 'Gustloff', perhaps?).
The cap is, I believe, part of an early Marine SA uniform, similar to a civilian maritime rig which may have been especially tailored for AH (remember, this was pre-war when he still 'sported' variant SA uniforms).

        Black Hitler visor

Interesting, I thought it was a DAF visor he only wore on one occasion.

Turbo, I would bet that it is on one of the big KDF cruise ships, as Nachrichten said - the Robert Ley or Wilhelm Gustloff.

                      And here's the answer:

Another pic of Adolf on the maiden voyage of the Robert Lay. Originally in Time magazine. Inga Ley was apparently quite a looker in her day. Too bad her hubby was an drunken a-hole...
