For me the key is the name tag. Its machine stitched - so I assume tag and side cap belong together.
The wrap below was part of a whole estate and was sold last year by Hermann Historica (as far as i remember). I cannot say much about this lot - I saved only the pics. But obviously both tags are identical (I do not believe in a perfect name tag copy). So I follow that either both items are original or both are fakes. Maybe someone can ad a few facts about the Sickenius estate.

( in 1942 F. was in the Führerreserve - that means its possible that he ordered a new cap - why in Dresden - I dont know).
Sieckenius was promoted to General in mid 1943 - that means he must have orderd his set in early 1943 when he was wounded - indeed possible.
