When it comes to a traditional Bergmuetze this isn't one I would fancy in the 1st place, like John noticed no grommets, then it's quite hairy with all the white hairs sticking out, the weaving of the eagle isn't my thing either..
just a 1st impression ..
Saw a mint army M43 lately, same structure of wool and people didn't like it.

It's a nice looking cap, but I have to agree with what has already been said.
The absence of grommets worries me. So, too, does the 'furry' nature of the wool and the button.
It looks just too 'mint' for my taste.
I may be wrong (I often am), but I don't 'feel' good about this one.

Not just the grommet issue, but the wool, lining, size marking, and the manner in which the insignia is sewn.
