This is a tough one. I don't see anything wrong on the exterior, the bullion piping looks impeccable (albeit less toning than you would normally find on bullion pipings). The interior though does give me some funny feelings. Not a fan of the sweatband and the issued-quality lining, which I have not seen on a general's visor.

What is your verdict, Chris?

A Hoffman cap with a velvet insert a la Pekuro? Never have seen that before, and while Hoffman made Heer caps , aren't they much better known for Luftwaffe enlisted caps?
