Book is worth it. 512 pages on the various NSKK-related organisations (ie, LW-NSKK, heer-related NSKK, etc); NSFK; FAD; & RAD (among others).

Pics of hyper-rare caps, rare advertisements, and of course, uniforms I had never heard of before.

Wim did his usual outstanding job--no headgear collector should be w/o it.

Here is typical Wim--he solved the mystery of the ARWA logo!:

According to the book, "Nazi Chic" by Guenther, ARWA was superseded by ADEFA on July 1st, 1938. So, according to this, one can presume that the ARWA marked hats were made prior to that date.

            This is the ADEFA mark:

              Hello Stonemint,

I showed the ARWA logo due to the fact the advertisement included the RAD Robin Hood-cap. As far as I know this cap was not in use with ADEFA, but who knows one day such an advertisement will pop up!
By the way Org. Todt is not included in this volume. This is sceduled for a later volume, which I think will be volume 8. First start to work for volume 6, which largely will deal with the HJ-organization and all
what has to do with youth at nazi school-systems.

For those that would like to know the word "Kürschner", as mentioned in the earlier post from Stonemint: literally translated this means furrier!

I too have received Volume 5 and have started another Wim Saris "journey". This volume is not just for headgear collectors but for all WWII historians since everything is so well-researched and documented. Never before seen pictures highlight and reinforce Wim's research. It will take me a long time to read all if this book, but it will open my eyes to many unanswered questions about these organizations. 5 Stars!!!
