M43 caps

My first cap I got in 1971,when it arrived in the post my dad was outside working,the cap was grubby and there was a faint 1944 stamp inside.My dad grabbed it and said "dirty old jerry hat",before I could stop him he covered it in 'swarfega' and plunged it in a bucket of water a few times.It cleaned up,but you can no longer see the date stamp

My next cap I got a few years later,no insignia but the date stamp is intact.I have got spare insignia,may get around to restoring it.
