    Quick Question.

I pick up a transitional reichswehr visor cap, a week or so ago. I would post photos but the camera is not working like I want it to. At anyrate, I do not know what it is for. The cap is red and green. The piping of the hat is Red. The crown of the cap is green. The band of the cap is red. So would anyone have any idea about what it is for?

      Hallo finnishlion

From your description I would think to a pre-WW1 jaeger visor:

            Hallo finnishlion

Surely a clear shot of the inside could be helpfull.
From those four very unclear shots it is quite impossible to make a verdict, even if it is sure that the insignias were reapplied.

Hallo, Thank you for your help. I was looking over that website and you were right. M1907/10 model, which to me could have been use into the Weimar Republic into the early thrid reich until Germany had enough material to replace these caps all together. I know that during the Weimar Republic some units had the German Field Gray already but I would think that not all of the units did.
