    Very nice cap, we seem to see so may fakes on here. The eagle is your call, nothing will take away from it being 100% right. Congratulations,

                    Blue KM cockade, so was it blue and not feldgrau as Ben mentioned?
                    But how to recolor without coloring white threads?
                    Regards,
                    Gary

                        Daniele

                        Your story on the origin of the cap is right. !!
                        I got the cap and some Items more a few years ago from there.

                        It is also true that Mister X wanted to buy this cap. It was a Deal. I was not asked about the origin. Mister X told me on the phones, the cap is colored.

                        I can not believe this,I have check the cap, and found no evidence of colored!

                        Daniele;
                        When you are now uncertain, just send the cap back. No problem !!

                        But I'am sure the cap is ok.

                        Kind Regards Andi

                          Hello Gentlemen,
                          In my opinion, this is a lovely example of an early panzer overseas cap. I find it original in every way.
                          Congratulations for a great addition to your collection Daniele, and thank you for sharing,
                          Curtiss

                                From the pictures, re-coloring does not appear to be a concern; KM cocades were used on Originals of this type of hat.
